Ok that is interesting, so you are running also on Windows 8.1 (64 Bit) but don't get the errors in the Windows Event Viewer. I have the latest driver from the ASUS Website (Version 2.0.8.8). Has anyone experienced a similar problem with this wireless adapter ? I see that there is a newer version of the BROADCOM Adapter at this website ( ) ,but I am not sure if I should download it or wait for the PCE-AC68 Driver Update ? In my Device Manager the version of ASUS PCE-AC68 802.11ac Network Adapter is 6.30.223.228 and the date is 06-Feb-14.When I look at my PC, I see the PCI / PnP Network is: Broadcom BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter. So I thought that the Problem might go away if I update the BROADCOM Adapter.In the MEMORY.DMP I get the message that the Problem is caused by: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\bcmwl63a.sys A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP.

The BCM4360 WiFi adapter was still unable to connect and the error messages reported by wpa_supplicant were the same. I have also tried configuring the WiFi network to use the WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE mixed mode for authentication but it did not have any observable effect.
Perhaps the error messages from wpa_supplicant indeed mean that the encountered WPA3-specific suite selectors are not supported by some part of the used WiFi stack but I am not sure how to verify that.
